New 2016: Fed Poly Ekowe gets new Rector

The federal government announced Dr. Timi Seiyabo as the new substantive rector for Federal Polytechnic Ekowe on Tuesday, 9th of August, 2016. Before his appointment, Dr. Seiyabo was a lecturer at the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State. following a press conference held at the liaison office, handover was done this week where the former acting rector, Prof. Christopher Ahiakwo officially handed over the realms of affairs to the substantive rector. In his speech, Dr. Seiyabo assured staff of the institution that he was on a rescue mission and he will ensure that their rights are well protected.
